FYI, if you see a comment that just says to "click here" or something brief like that... DON'T CLICK IT. it's spam. i try to delete them as soon as i can. it kind of pisses me off that Josie's site has been hit with this crap. i've had ha'f a dozen unique "users" puting comments on my posts.
It's been a week so i better put something out there for you guys. Earlier this week we rented one of those huge "roll off" containers. they're like 20 feet long, 6 feet wide and six feet tall; massive steel trash cans. we cleaned out our entire basement, back porch, and a large pile of wood from the garage we tore down, etc. we filled that puppy to the top! we are ever so close to not having a 'white trash' yard for the last few years. it was quite embarrassing. we still have one more massive wood/brush pile to the north that needs burning. but we burned ALL DAY today. it was perfect weather. not windy and it is suppose to rain later tonight. the kids were having a little too much fun throwing wood into one of the fires we had going. we also had our fire pit going and when the huge wood pile was down to just wood shingles from the old garage, we set that one fire too!

This is Josie playing with part of her birthday gift. we got her a pink bat, pink glove, and a pink and white ball. She is signed up to play T-Ball this summer. Don't ask me how she still hit the ball when she was looking directly at me....
Happy Easter everyone!!

Tracy actually took this picture. i was five miles away at Taylor's baseball practice and noticed the sunset and called tracy and asked her to run out and take a picture, quick!
Tracy and i attended Josie's IEP (Individual Education Plan for Josie's physical needs at school) yearly review today. At last year's review we were on the fence as to whether we needed to keep one in place for her cuase she needed very little assistance at school. We decided today that Josie no longer needs to have an active IEP. We only identified two potential concerns for next year and that is the school will provide a step stool at the water fountain so Josie can reach. and we're not sure yet how the lunch room situation will work - she is still so short that she may have to reach up to push her tray of food down the line, and how she will do walking with a tray full of food. But kindergarteners practice going through the lunch line, etc, near the end of the year. Regardless, there are several para's in the lunch room who will be happy to help Josie if needed. So... no more IEP!!

We attended Cami's awards banquet for the Thunderettes dance team at her high school. She lettered which is a great accomplishment. i didn't letter (in track) until my senior year. and i never got a letter jacket to display it. funny, that's something i think i always wanted in highschool. you were definitely cool if you had a letter jacket. but it'd be kind of silly to buy one now, ha!
Of course... an amazing sunset and i left my camera in the car and the car was with Tracy at the grocery store!! so i took it with my cell phone. it's decent, but doesn't really do it justice. i had never seen cloud formations at sunset like this before. it's like the sun was drawing the clouds toward it; pulling them towards the setting orb. it was sooo cool.

I took Josie to the Dr. Sunday morning to confirm that she has an ear infection. so she's on the pink stuff and doing well. we've finally gotten over the fevers i hope. we are still waiting to hear from the Dr. about her next back surgery. We'll let you know as soon as we do.
